Three Kapuso love teams star in Regal Films upcoming trilogy movie based on three songs of then Philippines' premiere band, The Eraserheads.

The first episode is entitled Ang Tindahan Ni Aling Nena starring Marky Cielo and Glaiza De Castro. The second episode is entitled Magasin starring Mart Escudero and Jennica Garcia. The last episode is entitled Torpedo starring Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.

Alessandra de Rossi shows the other side of her through her first single "Sailing" a remake of an 80's classic by Christopher Cross.

She shared that she's been planning to release a single since two years ago, but she became hesitant because of her vocal range. But then later she realize that you don't need to have an amazing vocal prowess to be able to do that.

She said that her interest in the electronic genre has a great influence in this single. She plans to sell it on iTunes.

Aside from playing the lead role in Sine Novela presents Magdusa Ka, FHM's sexiest Filipina is also busy with her lingerie business.

Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao will be leaving on May 10 to train in LA in preparation for his fight against David Diaz at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on June 29.

He trained for a week at Cebu Gym and he will resume training in the US together with his coach Freddie Roach.

He has also completed taping 7 episodes for Pinoy Records.

Regine's passion for cooking will now be put to good use as she plays a culinary arts graduate from Paris in My Name Is Kim Sam Soon.

The main setting of the soap is Tagaytay City and her bakeshop is located in Canyon Woods. But some scenes will also be shot in other locations such as Talisay, Batangas and other parts of Cavite.

The soap promises to be a total chaos yet feel good.

Tessie Tomas will play Kim's mom while Eugene Domingo plays a chef and best friend of Kim.

It could be remembered that Iwa was also the second choice for the role of Dianne which was also offered first to Cristine Reyes in GMA 7's primetime series Joaquin Bordado starring Robin Padilla and Iza Calzado.

She told the press during their press conference that she's happy that she's working and it doesn't matter to her being the second choice.

Ogie Alcasid is probably one of the busiest people today in showbiz. Aside from his regular shows like SOP, Bubble Gang, Pinoy Idol and Da Big Show, the TV host-singer-songwriter is also preparing for his upcoming album and his big concert at the Araneta Coliseum on September 27, 2008 entitled 20-20.

Ex-Kapamilya star Hero Angeles picks LJ Reyes to be his loveteam. He has even plans of courting her if ever given the chance according to Philippine Entertainment Portal.

Dennis Trillo goes daring this time around as he takes on the role of Christopher De Leon yet again in Sine Novela presents Magdusa Ka where he plays an offbeat role, far from his goody-goody leading man image.

During their press conference at Plaza Ibarra in Timog Ave., Quezon City, he explained that he feels comfortable doing it and it's only his second time playing the role of Christopher De Leon, first in Sine Novela presents Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap, the afternoon soap that posted the record for the highest afternoon rating with 27.8%.

His macho-dancing performance in the audio-visual presentation of the show was applauded by most of the entertainment press. When asked if it's the start of him doing more daring roles, "Siguro, actually wala pa 'yan...patikim lang to", he answered. "Pero, wala akong planong magbold, okay", he added.

Sine Novela presents Magdusa Ka will premiere on his birthday, May 12 after Daisy Siete.

Kapuso star Dingdong Dantes was nominated for Best Movie Director at the 24th Star Awards for movies.

He directed Daddy's Angel, one of the three episodes in the movie Angels. He will go against Maryo J. Delos Reyes (A Love Story), Topel Lee (Ouija), Cathy Garcia-Molina (One More Chance), Jose Javier Reyes (Katas Ng Saudi and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo) and Neal Tan (Ataul For Rent).

The awards night will be held at the AFP Theater in Quezon City this coming June 2008.

The Eat Bulaga Dabarkads left for Dubai last Monday for their live show tomorrow May 08, 2008 at the Dubai Tennis Stadium.

Together with the noontime trio of Tito, Vic and Joey are Dabarkads Pia Guanio, Julia Clarete, Pauleen Luna, Francis Magalona, Allan K, Jose & Wally and the EB Babes.

The Dabarkads return is due to the insistent demand of GMA Pinoy TV subscribers there.

Regine Velasquez signed a two-year exclusive contract with GMA 7 last Monday.

It was also announced on that contract signing the start of her new primetime musical show Songbird which will replace Iza Calzado's ESP.

She said that she's very thankful that she's getting all her dream projects. Aside from her weekly musical show, Regine will also star in the Philippine remake of the Korean hit series My Name Is Kim Sam Soon.

It took 11 years in the making and finally the story of a legendary warrior princess from Pangasinan named Urduja will hit the theaters very soon. Produced by APT Entertainment Seventoon and Imaginary Friends and will be released by GMA Films, Urduja is the first full-length Filipino animated film.

The songbird Regine Velasquez will play Urduja together with an all-star cast lead by Cesar Montano, Eddie Garcia, Johnny Delgado, Ruby Rodriguez, Michael V and Allan K.

Held last April 30, 2008, the 10th Gawad Pasado (Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro) at The Fort, Taguig City.

Three indie films were chosen Pinakapasadong Pelikula: Ataul For Rent, Endo and Foster Child.

Judy Ann Santos was Pinakapasadong Aktres for the horror film Ouija while Joel Torre was Pinakapasadong Aktor for Ataul For Rent.

It is confirmed. Kapuso star Richard Gutierrez will do a movie under Star Cinema opposite mega daughter KC Concepcion.

Present on the contract signing are Star Cinema head Malou Santos, ABS-CBN Corporate Communication head Bong Osorio and other network executives. Also present is Richard Gutierrez' mom/manager Anabelle Rama.

Dyesebel replay scored a knock-out last Sunday over ABS-CBN's coverage of Homecoming: De La Hoya vs. Forbes with an impressive 25.2% to be the over-all No. 1 daytime program. Other Kapuso shows also performed very well as SOP scored 14.3% against ASAP's 10.2% and Showbiz Central with 15.6% against The Buzz' 9.6%.

Meanwhile, Gabby Concepcion's comeback appearance in Maalaala Mo Kaya last Friday scored 17.5% to land at No. 8 ahead of Lobo 17.1% and Maligno 16.1%. For the very first time, Katrina Halili will play a villain no more in the latest installment of Sine Nobela presents "Magdusa Ka". She will reprise the role of Dina Bonnevie from the 1986 classic hit movie. Playing her leading man is Dennis Trillo and Iwa Moto as her kontra-bida.

Also in the cast are Rita Avila, Gardo Versoza, Jackie Lou Blanco, Liza Lorena, Prince Stefan, Rich Asuncion and many more. It is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes.

Jesse Bradford (Bring It On) will star in the Hollywood version of the Filipino horror film "The Echo". Also in the cast is Kapuso star Iza Calzado who will reprise her role in the Filipino version "Sigaw" which starred Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin.

From the same producer of The Grudge and The Ring, The Echo is directed by our very own Yam Laranas.

Newest Kapuso star, Heart Evangelista, was officially welcome yesterday on SOP. She will be next seen opposite Richard Gutierrez in the upcoming action series Codename: Asero on GMA Telebabad.

It was "May Pambihira" party yesterday on SOP as Kapamilya star Judy Ann Santos celebrated her 30th birthday. It was so star-studded with no less than the megastar Sharon Cuneta as one of her very special guests.
